Uniforms
We value excellence, respect, professionalism, and belonging, and we believe our dress expectations for staff and students can help reinforce those values. Our students come from a wide variety of backgrounds, and we want school to be a place where everyone feels comfortable and included—where the focus is on learning, building relationships, and growing together, rather than on clothing, brands, or fashion.
With that in mind, we are making one change to our regular uniform and returning to past precedent: hooded sweatshirts will no longer be part of the school-day uniform.
The good news is that students can still wear their hooded sweatshirts during school on out-of-uniform days and Seven Hills themed ones on Spiritwear Fridays. We want students to have opportunities to show their Roman Eagle pride and personality while also maintaining a consistent and professional look during regular school days.
We appreciate your partnership and understanding as we continue to think intentionally about the policies and practices that help make Seven Hills a welcoming, equitable, and learning-focused environment.
All SHPA students wear a uniform. Our dress code does not attempt to take into account every possible clothing instance, but serves as a practical guide to making decisions to ensure clothing is modest, unobtrusive, and in good repair. Students are required to be in uniform during the school day as well as on field trips, unless otherwise notified. We are grateful to students and parents/guardians for their support of our clothing policy.
We do not require specific vendors or brands of clothing to be worn by the students as long as clothing adheres to the Uniform Dress Code Guidelines. Uniforms are available through Educational Outfitters and retailers like Old Navy and Target.
School Colors: Our colors are navy, white, and gold, with khaki and Elementary School plaid
